Patrizia's Italian Cookbook : 100 recipes from Tuscany and Emilia Romagna at Kindle Edition.
by Patrizia Cantini (Author)
This book is written by Patrizia Cantini, a food and wine journalist, who travels throughout Italy in search of the best traditional products. For several years Patrizia has held cooking classes at her home in the center of Florence and from these lessons she had the idea of writing a book dedicated to the great recipes from Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. In fact, her mother came from the Apennines of Emilia and Patrizia began making noodles, lasagna and tortellini from a young age. The noodles have become a must of her cooking classes and her students easily learn to work the fresh pasta.
As a result her students asked her to publish a book containing her family recipes and the secrets of Italian cuisine. Most of the 100 recipes in the book are traditional, based on ingredients that are easily found in markets around the world. There are meat and fish dishes as well as recipes for vegetarians and children. Last but not least, some of the most famous Italian desserts such as "tiramisu" and "panna cotta."
Also a section of the book is dedicated to fresh pasta, which Patrizia believes to be the true secret of happiness in the family! Making pasta is an act of pure creativity plus it's easy and fun. Thanks to this book anyone can learn how to make pasta and add zest to your meals!
